Safety, health and environment (HSE)
Sayal Gostar Sepand Company as a public contractor is concerned with protecting the safety and health of individuals, preventing accidents and protecting the environment. Therefore, the company is aimed to be among the leading companies in the field of health and safety of individuals and environmental protection. thus, all the managers and employees of the company work together to create a safe and healthy working environment and always consider themselves responsible for environmental protection and eliminate or reduce the environmental impact of the company's activities.
An important factor that has an essential role in company's progression and development has been the involvement of HSE considerations in all executive activities and the improvement of the information and multi-stakeholder system throughout the organization.
Therefore, in order to implemention of HSE at all stages of the project, the company has put in place the following measures:
- Train people to apply health and safety methods and instructions to work and maintain the surrounding environment.
- Motivating people to make them more and more responsible for protecting themselves and their colleagues. (No one should be forced to do something that would endanger others and his own health or safety, or the environment, around him or her.
- Encouraging all individuals to actively participate in HSE issues and promote health and safety in the workplace.
The governing principles are designed to meet the demands and requirements of the standards and guidelines of ISO14001, HSE-MS, OHSAS18001 and can be used as a guideline reference for the personnel of the group, the employer and the auditor who intend to evaluate the HSE management system.
The schematic model of the principles governing the HSA management system of the MAPNA Group is presented below, in which interactive among all elements covered by the leadership and commitment of the top management of the organization are considered.
HSE methods and circumtsances for its applying in the project
1. Policy:
- Minimizing the environmental profile and preventing hazards for all beneficiaries as well as equipment, facilities, resources and assets.
- Promoting culture and positive belief in the implementation of HSE principles and rules.

2. HSE goals:
- Increasing employee awareness through training (pre-employment, specialized, Tool Box Meeting, etc.).

- Identifying hazards and risk assessment.
- Pre-recruitment and periodic examinations (planning to achieve HSE goals).

3. Legal requirements:
Sayal Gostar Sepand Co. observes and enforces labor law, technical protection and work hygiene regulations, regulations of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education, EPA regulations and instructions, occupational exposure to pathogens, radiation protection law and other national laws on the subject, which are within the scope of its activities in the project.
4. HSE training courses:
The contractor requires his personnel and implementation teams who are settled in the project site to participate in all HSE training courses organized by the employer and to be aware of all the instructions required by the project site.
